Goodbye

I spy
to my own demise
not simplified
but reluctantly advised
with no reason nor why
yet puzzled I lie
soaked in blood soon to dry

I try
eagerly to cry
as tears form in these eye's
no screams no shrieks only sighs
of wheezing carbon dioxide
and I see her rise
from my dying side
she kisses me goodbye.

~~Sprung~~

I gaze at your beautiful buds which have sprung
blooming in the glorious sun.
And as quick as the day is done
your change of youth has begun.
Strengthening your sprawling roots
to bare your life's wondrous fruit.
As seasons change I wish you not forget
even in youth we create amazement so best not regret.
